Rainbow Six Siege recently received a patch on PC, and now that update is coming to Xbox One and PS4. As a result, the game's servers are expected to go down for some time today. On PS4, servers will be down for 30 minutes from 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 1 PM GMT / 11 PM AEST. An hour after that, Xbox One's Siege servers will be unavailable for 30 minutes.
Ocean of games. This is in order to deploy the Year 3 Season 1.1 patch, which addresses a number of issues discovered since the release of Operation Chimera earlier this month. One such bug allows you to become invisible in PvP in some circumstances, but Ubisoft says that will no longer be possible after this patch.
On the Outbreak side, the bugs addressed are not terribly serious for the most part, although turrets will no longer be rendered unusable (and unable to be picked up) when they run out of ammo. Additionally, Buck will be able to refill the ammo for his Skeleton Key while his secondary weapon is equipped.
The shooter has only just received DLC, but its next add-on might have already leaked. Potential new Rainbow Six Siege Operators emerged recently, showing one, Alibi, that appears to come equipped with some form of decoy, and another, Maestro, who can supposedly reinforce cameras. • Fixed – Players lose all functionality/control after picking up a deployable shield.
• Fixed – Ash’s breaching round does not break the wall in 2F Meeting Room on Tower. • Fixed – When a dead Operator is spectating a teammate while on their drone/camera, cycling through Support view modes (drone/camera and Operator views) a third option is available. This view is the First Person point of view of the operator, but the operator is invisible.
